7-Eleven Robbery Suspects Arrested

Robbery-VideoTwo men are in jail suspected of robbing an 7-Eleven in Atascadero Thursday.  Police say Timothy Crook and Jaleigh Patterson held a clerk at gunpoint and demanded cash.

Both men are facing charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a robbery.

They were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.

On Friday at approximately 2:56 a.m., officers from the Atascadero Police Department responded to the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 8000 El Camino Real in Atascadero for a report of robbery alarm activation.  On arrival, officers determined that a robbery did occur.

During the robbery, two male suspects entered the business, one of whom was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.  They forced the clerk, at gunpoint, to give them cash from the cash register.  The suspects also took packages of cigarettes.   It is unknown how much cash was taken.

The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Video led to the arrest of the pair.
