About Jennifer
Hi, I'm Jennifer Grant. You can find me on Coast 101.3 10am-2pm weekdays (feel free to send me an e-quest for the All Request Lunch Hour.) I'm originally from the Midwest (Milwaukee, Chicago & Ft. Wayne, Indiana) but have called the Central Coast home since 1981. I fell in love with radio in the 2nd grade when my grandparents gave me a clock radio, started working in radio when I was 21 and have been working ever since. And I still love it after all these years.
I live in 5 Cities with my 5 dogs (Snickers, Pugsley, Arrow, Beauser & Cola)-all rescues from local shelters. I bought my first house 3 years ago and I've been working on it ever since:) I'm also a Big Sister with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of SLO County-an AWESOME organization that I encourage anyone to check out (www.slobigs.org ). When I've got free time (yeah, right), I love to take my Jeep 4X4-ing, take my dogs hiking, go to the movies, have dinner with friends and I read all the time (bookstores are very dangerous for me-I can't go into one without buy AT LEAST a couple of books.) No more killing I have discovered I have mice. Now, I don't want the mice dead, but i just can't handle them living in my house. Because I'm an animal lover and could'nt hurt even a mouse, I was forced to find a humane way of catching them. These traps work great/pain free, mess free, and I can take them down the the park and let them loose.
Ship Wrecks I'm from Wisconsin originally so I thought this website was pretty cool. Plus I actually know how to pronounce the cities and towns near the wrecks.
Save the Manatee These are giant gentle creatures and since I'm an animal lover, I had to include them here.

Welcome to Neenah Although i was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I really consider Neenah to be my home town. It's where my Mom's side of the family is from and I spent pretty much every summer of my childhood there. Very cool place.
Awful Plastic Surgery I don't usually read gossip magazines or watch reality shows but I love checking out this website once in a while. Jeez-what were these people thinking???

Virtual Guide Books Almost as cool as webcams. These pictures are from all over the West and include some local shots from the Central Coast too.
Yosemite is one of my favorite places-cool website plus they update their photos every couple of weeks so you can see the seasons changing in Yosemite.
