    Mr. Woodcock Video Movie Review

Mr. Woodcock comes into play as another movie where the bully gets his and when this happens it’s usually funny and ironic. The problem with this movie is that they forgot the funny.

Mr. Woodcock played by Billy Bob Thornton who was in fact playing himself or more to the point the character he’s become in his last couple hits. He’s sullen, angry and a general jerk to the living population at large. The story tries to prove we all love wacky and offbeat situations, the case being Mr. Woodcock being in love with Beverly Farley played by Susan Sarandon.

The final player in this comedy is John Farley played by Sean William Scott. A self help guru that went through a horrific childhood because of his gym teacher Mr. Woodcock.

So when John comes home to find his mom and Woodcock as a couple he explodes inside and relives all the torment and anger that made up his childhood. Bent on revenge and a quest to separate the couple, Farley creates crazy circumstances and hatches barely thought out plans to make things right.

As reviews go I wasn’t especially happy with this movie. I believe my biggest problem was that I saw two actors playing roles they’ve played before. Mr. Woodcock was just missing his “Bad Santa” suit and Sean William Scott was one inch away from being Americans Pies “Stifler” once again. This movie just feels like a formula that wasn’t quite though out or measured well.
