    VIDEO: Resident Evil: Extinction review!

Welcome back seems to be the appropriate feeling for Resident Evil: Extinction fans. This third installment of the franchise proves that good story lines can always make money. Be they made in a Hollywood screenwriting room or a pizza joint with some video game nerds high on imagination.

We come back to our heroine named Alice played by the beautiful Milla Jovovich. A woman who has taken everything the evil Umbrella Corporation can throw at her and smiled back through a deadly smirk. Now in her full super powered mode Milla joins the fray in the Nevada desert where Zombie butts need kickin and killin. She is joined by her compatriot Carlos played by the always fun Oded Fehr. And a slew of other characters played by Ali Larter, Omar Epps and musician Ashanti.

They all face the power hungry Umbrella corporation and its chief scientist baddy Dr. Isaacs played by Iain Glen. Isaacs follows Alice to reclaim the key to his discoveries and achieve his perfect specimens. All along the while Alice and her crew fight off the living and the dead as they attack from every side.

As review go, I like this movie for the fun it brings. With that said, the story doesn’t really move the franchise along and the plot holes present couldn’t be jumped by Evel Knievel. And while we don’t get the enclosed environment scares we got from the past two movies, they still find ways to keep you jittery and on edge. So with that, welcome to Las Vegas and most likely death!
