Arrests Made in Fraternity House Robbery


San Luis Obispo police, along with investigators from the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office and the county Sheriff’s Office, served three search warrants yesterday at about 2 p.m. at places that police said were associated with the suspects alleged to be involved with an attempted armed robbery of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity house on California Blvd..   Police arrested 19 year old Cameron Marcel Akins, after he allegedly held several fraternity members at gunpoint. 20 year old Cortland Josiah Fort, was arrested in a vehicle nearby, and three other suspects were arrested later that day on the Cal Poly campus: 20 year old  Kristan Sterling Ivory, ; 19 year old Domique Alize Love and 18 year old Jake Anthony Brito. Investigators remain tight lipped about the investigation as it is on going. The suspects were booked into County Jail on Sunday on various charges related to robbery, and all have since posted bail. As of yesterday, the District Attorney’s Office had yet to file charges on the five suspects. An arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 25 in San Luis Obispo Superior Court.
