Services for the late Rick Martel will be held March 2 at 11 AM at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church in Arroyo Grande. Martel, anchor for KSBY news for 15 years, died this past Tuesday morning of kidney failure. Former KSBY Anchor Rick Martel Passes Away


Former KSBY news anchor and crooner Rick Martel has died. The 82-year-old icon passed away Tuesday morning, according to his wife Stormi. Martel anchored KSBY news from 1980 to 1995. SLO City Council Voted Against Rail Spur Project


The San Luis Obispo City Council voted Tuesday night to oppose the Santa Maria Phillips 66 rail spur project, which would bring mile-long oil trains carrying 2.5 million gallons of crude nearly every day through San Luis Obispo. Guilty Verdicts in Vehicular Manslaughter Trial


Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce E. A Righetti High School student has been diagnosed with Whooping Cough. The student is not attending school at the present time.
