7-Eleven Robbery Suspects Arrested

Two men are in jail suspected of robbing an 7-Eleven in Atascadero Thursday.  Police say Timothy Crook and Jaleigh Patterson held a clerk at gunpoint and demanded cash. Court Order To Decrease Prison Population Could Put Over 9,000 Inmates On The Streets

Accused Embezzler Al Moriarty To Remain In Jail With Bail Set At $5 Million

Al Moriarty isn’t going anywhere any time soon.  The 80-year-old businessman accused of fraud and embezzlement will remain in SLO County Jail with bail set at $5-million.  He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Spanish Springs Development Project Delayed

Carlyn Christianson Wins SLO Council Seat In Special Election

San Luis Obispo has a new city council member.  In a special election by mail yesterday, Carlyn Christianson received 4,138 votes, or 48 percent of the vote. Paul Brown followed with 3,371 votes, or 39 percent.  The third candidate, Donald Hedrick, received 217 votes. Christianson will be sworn in on July 2nd.
