Paso Robles Police Arrest Compton Man On Felony Drug Charges

One 33-year-old man is in San Luis Obispo County Jail for Felony Possession of Narcotics. Paso Robles police arrested Esteban Ortiz of Compton on Wednesday. Police Search Carpinteria For Parolee On The Run

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s office wants the public to lookout for a parolee who ran from deputies Monday night.  22-year-old Joseph Vallejo of Carpinteria is on parole for assault with a deadly weapon. White Fire 90% Contained

Officials say the White Fire in the Los Padres National Forest just north of Santa Barbara is 90-percent contained. It started this past Monday afternoon and burned 1,984 acres in two days. Explosion In Restaurant Kitchen Leaves Cook In Hospital

A cook at Mo’s Smokehouse Barbeque restaurant in San Luis Obispo has serious injuries after a kitchen explosion.  It happened at about 6 p.m. yesterday at the restaurant on Monterey Street. Deputies Arrest Suspected Drug Smugglers At Traffic Stop On Los Osos Valley Road

14 men are in custody after attempting to smuggle drugs into the Central Coast. Amtrak California passengers can now reserve onboard bike rack space on Saturday when booking travel on Pacific Surfliner trains, free of charge. Earthquake Shakes Up Santa Barbara
