Cal Poly University Police Conduct DUI Check Point

The Cal Poly University Police Department has concluded a California Office of Traffic Safety DUI/driver license checkpoint. The checkpoint started on 09-21 and was operated between 7:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m.   Seven-hundred twenty-eight vehicles passed through the checkpoint and six-hundred forty-eight drivers were screened for intoxication and drivers licenses. Fire authorities are investigating a commercial structure which occurred Saturday morning at the AM/PM gas station at 6100 San Anselmo Road in Atascadero. Driver Hits Two Parked Cars; Arrested for DUI

San Luis Obispo Police received a call reporting a collision in the 100 block of N. Tassajara Friday just before midnight. Responding police personnel located a 2004 Cadillac SUV unoccupied with damage to the front end. Vegetation Fire In Atascadero Yesterday

Pain Doctor Shares His Thoughts On Arrest Of Son

Murder Suspect Arrested

On 9-18-13, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Detectives arrested Joseph Munoz for the murder of Joseph Padilla. Padilla was stabbed during a fight on 6-21-13 in the 1300 block of 19th Street in Oceano. Munoz was already in custody for a probation violation.
