Marijuana Plants Eradicated From Private Land


The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Marijuana Eradication Operation yesterday on private property. Woman Believed To Be Central Coast Bandit Pleads Not Guilty


The woman believed to be the Central Coast Bandit is due back in court next week for a preliminary hearing. Fifty-year-old Cristina Padilla of Watsonville pleaded not guilty yesterday to committing half-a-dozen bank robberies in Central California since December. Woman’s Body Found Near Tajiguas Beach


The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office has identified a young woman who was discovered Tuesday, in the ocean near Tajiguas Beach about 20 miles north of Santa Barbara along the coast.
