Lifeguards Rescue Three In Pismo Beach


Three children were rescued from the ocean in Pismo Beach Sunday. According to the Pismo Beach Police Department, they received a call about three swimmers in distress on yesterday afternoon. Cal Fire was also called out to the scene, and State Lifeguards were sent into the water to help. The three swimmers were brought to land safely. No CPR was needed. Read More »

Burn Pile Ignites Garage Fire In Atascadero


A structure fire over the weekend in Atascadero has caused $200,000 in damage. The fire broke out just before one-thirty Saturday afternoon on the nine-thousand block of San Rafael. The Dystiny Myers murder trial is now in the hands of a jury. The prosecution rested its case against Rhonda Wisto and Frank York on Tuesday and gave closing arguments yesterday. So did the defense. Fire Crews Quickly Extinguish Nipomo Structure Fire


There was a structure fire in Nipomo this morning.  The fire broke out in the 500 block of Silver Leaf Court before 4:45, and was contained shortly before 5.
