A boat crashed on a beach near Vandenberg Air Force Base and it was filled with bales of marijuana that officials say is worth over one million dollars. The "L.A. Times" reports the boat was found Thursday afternoon overturned on the shoreline north of Wall Beach.
According to base officials, the pot was taken away by Homeland Security investigators and they are dealing with removing the wrecked boat safely.
Base personnel were put on high alert as suspects were searched for, but none were found.
Homeland Security investigators are now in control of the investigation.
