Amtrak Bike Reservation Now Free Of Charge

Amtrak California passengers can now reserve onboard bike rack space on Saturday when booking travel on Pacific Surfliner trains, free of charge. Earthquake Shakes Up Santa Barbara

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake occurred at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday, and was centered 3 miles west of Isla Vista in Santa Barbara County. There have been no reports of damage or injury so far. Panga Boat Found Beached At Montana De Oro, Multiple Arrests Made

Multiple people are in custody after a panga boat washed ashore at Montana de Oro Wednesday morning and was discovered by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff. Accident On 101 in Nipomo Leaves Driver In Hospital

Neighbor Detains Suspected Car Burglar Until Police Arrive

A Templeton man was arrested Sunday after Paso Robles police received a call from someone reporting that he had detained a suspected car burglar. Fire Crews Battle Wildfire In Santa Barbara County

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says the White Fire burning in Southern Santa Barbara County is 10 percent contained. Atascadero Homicide Suspect Arrested

Officials say they’ve arrested a suspect who they think killed an Atascadero woman last week.   They say 49-year-old Mark Alan Andrews is in San Luis Obispo County Jail and has been charged with homicide. Wild Fire Burns One Acre In San Luis Obispo

A wild land fire in San Luis Obispo caused more than $1,000 worth of damage this weekend. It happened on Spanish Oaks Drive Friday afternoon and burned one-acre.  Residents near the fire attempted to put it out with hoses.
