Children’s Resource Network Receives Contribution From PG&E

The Children’s Resource Network of the Central Coast  announced it received a $25,000 contribution from Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).
PG&E President Chris Johns presented the check to Lisa Ray, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Resource Network.  Yesterday’s donation matches a similar donation PG&E made last year to the Children’s Resource Network.
Among those who attended the check presentation was Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian, members of the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson, California Highway Patrol Captain Matt Olsen,  Mayors Tony Ferrera and Shelly Higginbotham among other school officials and other local dignitaries.
In 2012, PG&E donated a truck that has been the charities sole transportation and has been an invaluable tool in transporting donations and pulling their 24’ mobile clothing and resource trailer, the Traveling Children’s Closet.
The Children’s Resource Network provides free clothing, shoes, blankets, books, backpacks, school supplies, diapers, toiletries and other basic needs to children ages newborn to eighteen.
