City Of SLO On Track To Complete Seismic Retrofitting

Brick-crackedSan Luis Obispo City officials say they are on their way to meeting their 2015 deadline for seismic-retrofitting of the 126 unreinforced masonry buildings in San Luis Obispo.

The deadline was a result of the 2003 San Simeon Quake.  It killed two women in Paso Robles.

Officials say 112 of the masonry buildings have been reinforced already. There are 14 more to be retrofitted.
