Coroner Attempts To Identify Body Found In Crashed Pick-Up In Santa Barbara Ravine

Police-LineThe Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office is in the process of positively identifying the occupant found in a vehicle discovered Thursday at the bottom of a ravine, 300 feet off of Painted Cave Road.

The vehicle is registered to an individual who was reported missing in Santa Barbara County in March of 2012.

Due to the fact the accident did not occur recently, it may take the Coroner’s Office several weeks to positively identify the decedent.  The accident is under investigation.
