Coroner Releases Cause of Death For Two in Traffic Collision

Police-LineThe Coroner's Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is releasing the cause of death for the two men involved in a fatal traffic collision in Paso Robles on 2-26-14. Investigators list the cause of death for 26-year-old Jeremy Nathanial Martin of Grover Beach and 24-year-old Christopher Micheal Medina of Paso Robles as multiple blunt force trauma injuries. Results of toxicology tests are pending and are not expected for six to eight weeks.

Investigators have determined the deceased occupant’s car did contain suspected marijuana. It is unknown whether the driver was under the influence of any intoxicants at the time of the collision and whether this played any part in the collision.
