County Board Of Supervisors Pass Water Urgency Ordinance

The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors has passed an urgency ordinance to deal with the depleting groundwater supply in the Paso Robles area. The ordinance stops any further planting or building without water offsets. The supervisors, who voted 4-0, plan to return to the issue within 45 days and begin looking for a long-term plan to manage the groundwater basin in the north county.
