Dystiny Myers Killers Sentenced To Life In Prison

Dystiny-MyersTwo people convicted in the 2010 murder of 15-year-old Dystiny Myers were sentenced yesterday to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Rhonda Wisto and her son, Frank York, were found guilty of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping and torture.

Dystiny's tortured and burned body was found in a shallow grave near Santa Margarita in September 2010.

Wisto and York have to pay 10-thousand dollars each in restitution costs to Dystiny's family.  They can file for an appeal in the next 60 days.

Three others were convicted in Dystiny's murder.  Cody Miller and Ty Michael Hill were convicted of first degree murder and were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.  Jason Greenwell made a deal with District Attorney's office and testified against Wisto and York. He is eligible for parole in 15 years.
