Great White Shark Sighting at Leadbetter Beach

The Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol has shut down Leadbetter Beach because of a Great White shark sighting. The harbor patrol says they received a report of a shark sighting at about 10:30 yesterday morning and shut the beach down shortly after. They say they interviewed two witnesses, who described the fin and a side-to-side swim pattern. The beach will remain closed this morning, and harbor patrol has posted signs warning people to stay away. Those signs will be up for 72 hours.
