Lompoc Fire 90% Contained

The San Miguelito vegetation fire has burned about 832 acres and caused $862,000 in damage since it started at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon on San Miguelito Canyon Road in Lompoc. The fire is about 90% contained. More than 500 firefighters spent the night containing the fire. Santa Barbara County Fire hopes to have the fire completely contained by this morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
