Man Accused Of Robbing Bank Of America Pleads Not Guilty

Yesterday 38-year-old Andrew Gilbertson, the man accused of robbing the Bank of America in San Luis Obispo last July entered pleas of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity. Gilbertson of Paso Robles, was arrested on July 24, the same day the bank on Santa Rosa Street was robbed. Gilbertson wore a hat and glasses as a disguise and handed the teller a note demanding money. He was arrested in Atascadero a few hours later. Gilbertson's next court date is set for November 25, when the court will receive a doctor's report on his mental health evaluation.
