Myers Murder Trial Continues

Gavel-Court-LawThe Dystiny Myers murder trial continues.  Mother and son Rhonda Wisto and Frank York are the defendants.  Three others involved in the 2010 murder of 15-year-old Myers have already pleaded guilty and two of those will be testifying against Wisto and York.

Wisto and York are charged with first degree premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder with additional charges of kidnapping and torture.

Yesterday, prosecution displayed physical evidence in the case, including brass knuckles, a sword, and a baseball bat allegedly used by the defendants to murder Myers.

Prosecutors say Wisto ordered the attack, while her son helped carry it out.

He's been sentenced to life in prison.  Cody Miller also pleaded guilty to first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder and has agreed to testify against Wisto and York.  Jason Greenwell has also made an agreement with the District Attorney's office to testify against the others in this case.
