I grew up in San Diego and spent a few years in Belgium before moving to the Central Coast. I've been here at Coast 101.3 since 1995. This has been my one and only broadcasting job.
Being on the border between extrovert and introvert, a great evening for me either involves cooking a big meal for friends and family - or - hiding from friends and family and taking some time to simply, quietly "be."
I'm a heavy-duty news junkie, but yes, I admit to watching Project Runway, Top Chef, and anything on the Food Network. Brad, (my other half) and I gave up satellite TV recently. So far, so good!
Favorite singers: Luther Vandross, Mel Torme, Diana Krall and Anita Baker. Favorite song: As Time Goes By.
Brad and I worked a food and wine event in Pebble Beach recently and met a lot of legendary chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Michael Chiarello, and Hubert Keller. Brad and I were taken by how accessible and personable all the chefs and food experts were.
