“The Big Kahuna” originally broke into broadcasting as the morning DJ at Z93 in 1989, in 1994 he went on to Las Vegas where he had a highly rated morning show for 12 years. In 2006 he came back to the Central Coast where for the last four years wasted away playing an uninspired short list of not so great hits….Now after toiling away in mediocrity he found his way as the co-host of the highly rated Coast Morning show. Kahuna lives in Atascadero with his Fiancée Lana; they have three grown children between them and enjoy having fun and being empty nesters. (For the time being) Kahuna is an avid golfer, Harley Rider and sports fan whose favorite teams are the Giants, The 49rs and the Lakers.
Becky
Becky Kingman has been a resident of San Luis Obispo for ten years and she loves everything about the Central Coast! She moved to San Luis from a small town in northern California...(the real northern California. The northern California that's north of Redding). Her parents still live there so she goes back to visit every chance she gets! After graduating from Cal Poly in 2007, Becky started working for El Dorado Broadcasters and hasn't looked back! If she's not at the station, you can find her eating at one of the amazing restaurants in downtown SLO…most likely Novo, hiking with her husband Jeff and their two dogs or shopping at one of the great boutiques downtown! Becky knows how lucky she is to live in such an amazing place and couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home!
