Be sure to listen on Wednesday mornings between 8:30 and 9:00 as we occasionally feature new restaurants. On the Wednesdays we have a restaurant in, we'll open up the online store. Amy is excited to be a part of the Coast Morning Show. KSTT is giving Amy the opportunity to have some fun in the morning and to interact with people here on the CentralCoast. Amy was born in California, but grew up in Colorado. Before moving to the CentralCoast, Amy worked in television and radio in Colorado and Montana. In her spare time, Amy trains to do half marathons with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and loves watching bad reality shows.
Kahuna email at: kahuna@kstt.com “The Big Kahuna” originally broke into broadcasting as the morning DJ at Z93 in 1989, in 1994 he went on to Las Vegas where he had a highly rated morning show for 12 years. In 2006 he came back to the Central Coast where for the last four years wasted away playing an uninspired short list of not so great hits….Now after toiling away in mediocrity he found his way to sit opposite Amy Jacobs as the co-host of the highly rated Coast Morning show. Kahuna lives in Atascadero with his Fiancée Lana; they have three grown children between them and enjoy having fun and being empty nesters. (For the time being) Kahuna is an avid golfer, Harley Rider and sports fan whose favorite teams are the Giants, The 49rs and the Lakers.
