A Paso Robles man has died as a result of a motorcycle accident yesterday morning. 63-year-old Earle Leroy Lloyd was the man killed.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Lloyd was driving a 2009 Honda cruiser-style motorcycle west on Linne Road at an unknown speed in heavy fog when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and went off the roadway. He hit a wire-and-metal fence before being ejected from the motorcycle and landed in a nearby vineyard, where he died of his injuries.
Lloyd was wearing full riding gear and a helmet, according to the CHP.
