June 25 at 12:42 p.m. officers from the Atascadero Police Department were dispatched to 6955 El Camino Real for a report of a robbery at Citibank that had just occurred. The suspect had entered the business and demanded money from one of the bank tellers. The suspect then exited the business and entered a vehicle parked on El Camino Real driven by a second suspect. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound toward the intersection of Highway 41 and El Camino Real. The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt during the incident.
Suspect 1 who entered the bank was described as a black male in his mid to late 30’s, 6’2”-6’4” tall and 260-300 lbs. He had a shaved head and a clean shaven face. Suspect 1 was wearing a dark colored T-shirt with a Reebok logo in blue and red on the front. He was also wearing blue jeans and had a pair of black sunglasses.
Suspect 2 was described as a black female in her late 30’s, 5’8” tall and a medium build with shoulder length black hair. She was described as wearing a white top and jeans. Suspect 2 was seen getting out of and back into a dark colored 2 sedan described as a late model American made vehicle by witnesses.
The suspects fled the scene in what was described as a dark blue late model 2 door sedan driven by the female suspect. The vehicle was last seen making a U-turn on El Camino Real in the area of Denny’s and heading southbound toward Highway 41 and El Camino Real.
