Police are looking for suspects in two separate robberies. On Friday the San Luis Obispo Police Department received a 911 call regarding a robbery that just occurred at Pita Pit Restaurant, located at 858 Foothill.
The reporting party stated a male subject entered the location, motioned like he had a weapon in his sweatshirt pocket and demanded the money from the register. After receiving the money form the register, the suspect fled the area on foot. No weapon was actually seen. The suspect got away.
And a suspect who robbed the Bank of America in Atascadero on Friday afternoon is also on the loose.
Officers from the Atascadero Police Department were dispatched to 6905 Capistrano Ave (Bank of America) for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect had entered the business and demanded money from one of the bank tellers. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash toward Highway 41 East. No one was hurt during the incident.
The suspect was described as a white male 6’0” tall with a thin build and greasy or dirty dark hair and an unshaven face. He was wearing a tan or khaki long sleeve button down shirt, brownish jeans or khaki pants and work style boots. He was also wearing dark black sunglasses.
No weapon was scene but the suspect indicated he was armed.
