SLO Engines Aid In Fight To Contain Powerhouse Fire In Santa Clarita

calfireCAL FIRE officials say five engines from San Luis Obispo County are assisting with the Powerhouse Fire in Southern California, which has burned over 22,000 acres since it broke out Thursday.

Officials say six homes have been completely destroyed, and  at least nine other homes have been damaged.

Three firefighters have been injured, and nearly 1,000 firefighters are battling the blaze from the ground and air.

Officials say it will take at least a week to contain the fire.
