Third Burglary Suspect Arrested

On Sunday, August 18, 2013, at about 10:30pm, Morro Bay Police received a tip that the third wanted suspect in a residential burglary on Main St., 20-year-old Mckinley Thomas, was at a residence in Los Osos in the 1200 block of Santa Ynez St. Morro Bay Police notified the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office of Thomas’ suspected location, and Sheriff Deputies located and took Thomas into custody without incident. Thomas was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail where he is awaiting arraignment on felony charges including burglary, false imprisonment, and battery.
At this time Morro Bay Police believe that all the suspects involved in the burglary are in custody, however the investigation is still ongoing. Morro Bay Police Commander Bryan Millard stated, “We wish to thank concerned citizens and our county partners at the Sheriff’s Office who helped bring this wanted felon safely into custody. Thank you also to the media for helping to broadcast this critical information to the public.”
